The Paradise Planets is the world’s first full-cast musical audiobook by one visionary artist. As an Emmy-nominated composer, I wrote the book, composed the music and lyrics, designed the immersive soundscape, and produced the full-cast performance. When you listen to The Paradise Planets, you step directly into my imagination, hearing the production exactly as I originally envisioned it. I'm a big believer in stretching the imagination, and this is the culmination of 30 years of imaginative exploration, not to mention three decades of developing the skills and talents to pull off such a challenging feat. In a world of AI, it's also worth noting that I did this without the assistance of AI (other than grammarly). This is an organic production with real singers, real actors, real orchestras and choirs, real musicians, and me. I took tens of thousands of hours to carve these sonic sculptures and paint literary landscapes from the depths of my life's journey.

My team and I have searched far and wide for anything that matches what we've accomplished. Lin-Manuel Miranda broke ground by bringing Hamilton to life on stage. Dolly Parton and James Patterson combined novel and music with Run, Rose, Run. The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes featured brief melodies in its audiobook. Spin: The Rumpelstiltskin Musical came close with a full-cast musical audiobook—but it was a collaboration among many creatives.

What sets The Paradise Planets apart is its singular creative force. From concept to final production, this is the first time a single artist has brought an entire musical audiobook to life with full cast, score, and sound design—delivering a truly immersive, story-driven musical experience.
