Raving Reviews from New Readers!
The book has now been out for a month, and reviews are coming in from new readers. I'm extremely grateful to all of these readers who are taking a chance on a brand-new book and series. It's always hard to be one of the first. Here are a few of my favorites that came in on Amazon:

Picked this book up wondering if it were just another young adult novel. But it was not! I loved the depth of subjects explored: coming of age, depth of friendships, social and emotional equality, competition, digging deep during adversity, child abuse, recognition of the needs of others, death, separation. It reminded me of the first time I read 'Ender's Game'. So, adults, young adults and teens will find something in this book. In fact, I gave it to my neighbor to read. And, maybe, just maybe, I know what I'm giving my grandchildren for their birthdays!
TO BE COMPARED TO ENDER'S GAME IS ONE OF THE GREATEST COMPLIMENTS!!! Ender's Game is one of my all-time favorite books. I've read nearly every book by Orson Scott Card, and it all started with this ground-breaking novel.

Hi! I’m 12 years old and this is one of the best books I’ve ever read in my entire life. I absolutely loved the book! I tried to compare it to other books and I couldn’t! It is great! Out of all of the books I’ve read this is definitely my favorite! I don’t really say this but I could read this book again and that’s coming from a girl who read a LOT of books. I can’t wait for the next books! I hope my librarian gets it for the school library!

I'm a twelve year old girl, and this book was amazing! I started reading it and could not put it down. It had so much imagination and it was fun to be able to picture what was happening. I also really loved the love triangle especially because it added more fun to the book on top of what was already happening. Once I had finished this book I had to go back and read it again because it was just that good.
She had to go back and read it again! Nothing makes an author feel better than knowing their book is good enough for repeat readings. Another great review.
